Never Joke With The Ones You Love

Luckily there wasn't near as long of a line at the south side burrito stand. It took us two hours to walk to it so it was now well past lunch time for most of the beach bums. Rich's eyes grew as wild as a hoot owl's when the Mexican guy handed him his huge authentic Mexican burrito. Rich had to hold it with both hands as he exclaimed, "Whoa! This thing might really be as big as my foot! I thought you were joking !" "I never joke with the ones I love," I said, "let's go over here by these rocks and see how big all this stuff really is." I pointed to a gathering of large rocks that were along the shoreline nearby. I knew from many experiences that there was a nice open space between a few of them where we could eat our burritos and not be seen by anyone.

I led Rich to a little clearing near a pool of fresh, clean water. The ocean nearby roared and waves crashed against the wet, cool rocks surrounding us as I urged Rich to take a seat on a flat rock surface and I began to pull the burrito from the north side out of my trunks. I then stepped into the pool of water up to my waist. My face was level with Rich's beautiful bare feet as I held both the north side burrito and the south side burrito beside one another, showing Rich the vast difference in size. "See? I told you that these were much longer here down south. Rich was struggling to shove his own huge burrito into his mouth and he looked at me, his face once again covered in sour cream and hot sauce, "Yeah, you're right!" he said with his mouth full, "they really know how to make them on this side of the beach!"

"Now let's see if this one is as big as your foot," I said as I laid the burrito along the top of Rich's left foot, noticing in satisfaction that about an inch of it hovered past his toes. That is the inch of burrito that I began to gnaw on, ferociously chewing on the soft tortilla shell and feeling the ingredients burst into my waiting mouth. I knew the quicker I ate the sooner I would be at Rich's toes and be nibbling on them.
